Julio Herrera departed from his native roots in Havana, Cuba for the Unites States at the age of 9 in 1961. His artistic stepping stones were first planted in Florida, where years later he would graduate from MDCC in 1977, with an Associate in Arts. Herrera's works are some what based upon personal dreams, thoughts, experiences and or mere reflections of his life and times. Some of his art are linear designs in color compositions. You will also discover expressive faces with a touch of Surrealism and yet Erotic in nature through haunting vivid colors.
